Kawasaki Versys 650 Officially Launched, Looks More Sporty

Although the Versys 650 is not given a new engine update, this motorbike comes with several advanced and contemporary features for an adventure motorbike.

Starting from the Kawaski Traction Control which has 2 different levels according to the needs of the rider. Its function is to maintain motor traction in a controlled condition. You can disable this feature.

Then there is also an automatic speed control feature for the motor. Where the function is more or less like Cruise Control on a car and can be adjusted to the speed of the vehicle in front of it. Then there are also radar sensors that help the driver when changing lanes. In addition, the Versys 550 is also equipped with a blind spot sensor that will display a visual warning in the rearview mirror.

Then switch to the instrument panel, already using a digital instrument screen with a modern look. The size itself is 4.3 inches with a color TFT screen. This part of the motor's instrument panel displays some information such as the speedometer, as well as information about the safety system and instructions for gasoline and engine temperature.

In terms of design, the Versys 650 underwent several changes, especially on the front. Starting from the headlights that follow the latest Ninja designs. Where this motorbike already uses full LED lights both in front and behind. Then the use of a rocky fairing that makes more curves and firm lines on the cover of this motorcycle body.

In addition, Kawasaki also provides Versys 650 LT where this motorbike is designed for consumers who like adventure or long-distance travel. The difference is, the Versys 650 LT version is also equipped with extra conveniences such as lever guard accessories, USB port, windshield, engine guard, thank pad, right, left, and rear box.

For color choices, Kawasaki presents new colors, namely Metallic Spark Black, Metallic Flat Spark Black, and Candy Lime Green. And specifically on the Versys 650 LT, it is only available in Metallic Spark Black and Metallic Flat Spark Black color options.

The engine is still the same as before

Regarding the engine, this motorbike is still equipped with a parallel-twin engine with a capacity of 649 cc which meets Euro 5 standards. The power produced is also quite large, namely 66 hp at 8,500 rpm and 45 lb-ft of torque at 7,000 rpm.

And for the matter of price, Kawaski has released the official price for the Versys 650. Interestingly, Kawasaki provides a price difference based on the color.
